The SAVVY YounGrrr Company was a drama group for children aged 8 - 11 years.
Based in Croydon, this weekly youth group explores a diverse range of theatre crafts and a variety of different drama skills (including script work, mask, improvisation, movement, puppetry and many many more), with ample opportunities to perform.
SAVVY had strong history of creating unusual and exceptional youth theatre productions. During the first lockdown YounGrrr members developed their skills in film-making, developing a short film that was premiered on the big screen at the Ashcroft Theatre, Fairfield Halls, and their production of Sweet Porridge (involving animation, movement and Commedia del Arte clowning, launched SAVVY Theatre's immersive Grimmly Season in December 2021.
The YounGrrr Company met Mondays during term time from 4.30 - 6pm at the SAVVY Studio, Fairfield Halls in Croydon.
